Love is in the air this weekend! People are flocking to the shops for chocolates and sweets and trying to plan the perfect date night. So we have come up with something a little different… why not ditch all the lovey dovey stuff and plan a Valentines Adventure to do together instead. Below are just some ideas for your Valentine’s adventures. At the end of the day, the flowers and chocolates won’t last but the memories of the adventures will…
- Whats Sup? This is one of our favourite adventures. Why not try some stand up paddle boarding this weekend for a Valentines adventure. One of our favourite places to try this is Neptune Kayak in Rostellan in Cork. A great relaxing way to spend a few hours! You might even get the chance to try some yoga on the board!! - People always think they have to go for a meal for Valentine’s day but what about trying something a little different… go for a spot of afternoon tea? Our favourite places are Mary Anne’s Tearooms in Tralee and Castlemartyr Resort in Cork.
- Why not load up the bikes and go on a bike trail in Ballyhoura in Limerick with Trailriders. Check out our recent video – now you see and feel the adventure before you go! This is the spot where Kimye went – If it’s good enough for them…
- The Glen Resource & Sports Centre is a true hidden gem in the heart of Cork. Zorbing, Zip wire, high ropes, soccer, leap of faith, team games and much more. Now this is an adventure worth exploring the Valentines Day… check it out here and see what you can expect before you visit. Take a leap of faith and try something different.
- Ballyhoura Horse Trails in Kilfinane(Limerick) have lots of treks this weekend… why not go on a horse riding trek together through the mountains or forrest. Check it out here.
- So if you feel you must do dinner… why not go to dinner somewhere a little different? We also LOVE Springfort Hall, a countryside gem just outside Mallow, Co. Cork recently.
