Welcome back to the Ring of Cork travel series. In this episode it is all about family fun! This week, we went on a road trip with Mackey Coaches and some ‘friendly characters’ to Trabolgan Holiday Village. We also explored Roches Point and some beautiful beaches in East Cork.
We started the day by meeting Cliona of Mackey Coaches, along with our friendly friends and off we went on our mini bus for a day of fun at Trabolgan Holiday Village. Mackey Coaches have all types of transport such as mini bus, a fleet of buses to suit any number of passengers, limousines, vintage vehicles, limo buses and much more. You can check out more information over on the website here.
So we have arrived in Trabolgan and ready to go have some fun! Trabogan is known as a fabulous holiday village but you can also go for day visits too like us. From zorbing, rock climbing, swimming, go karting, trampolining and so much more! I was so exciting for a day of adventure!! Trabolgan Holiday Village is well known for its magical surroundings, excellent facilities and range of indoor and outdoor activities. I was amazing at the range of activities; body zorbing, combat laser, archery, climbing, abseiling, zip wire, go karts, bounce zones, swimming, trampolines, bird of prey centre, performances, crazy golf pottery and so much more. It honestly is every childs dream(including big kids like us). You can stay overnight and make a holiday of it or just visit for a day with their day passes. For more information check out there website here.
Around every corner in East Cork lies a hidden gem. We explored Roches Point and some beautiful beaches along the way. It was simply breath taking. I would highly recommend taking a drive around the surrounding areas and getting lost in it’s natural beauty.
What a great day of adventure and the perfect place for a family day out. That’s it for this week on the Ring of Cork Travel Series, joining us next week when we will be heading to Cobh with some students from Cork English College and heading out on a trip around Cork Harbour with Ocean Escapes…hopefully we might even see some wildlife! See you then.
