HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!! It’s a big day for us here at OnTheQT today as we turn 2!!! HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY ONTHEQT. WUHOOOO!! What an amazing year.
- We have grown hugely throughout Ireland, while also tapping into countries worldwide.We explored all over Ireland and fell in love with beautiful places all over the country. Check out our highlights video showing #OurIreland here. We even got to visit lots of other countries – Scotland, England, Hungary but our favourite had to be island hopping in Croatia. - We have moved to your TV screens with TV3. We were delighted this year to be the travel expert for TV3’s Late Lunch live. We hope you enjoyed our tv slot and looking forward to doing lots more of TV this year.
- We appeared on Today fm, Redfm, 2fm and many radio stations. We loved being part of lots of travel and start-up discussions on radio throughout the year.
- We won lots of great awards this year. We won €5000 of advertising with Redfm for best pitch at Cork Innovates, while also scooping up the award for best digital marketing of a start-up in the Digital Marketing Awards 2014.
- We launched our OnTheQT app. Now you can explore no matter where you are in the world. The app pinpoints where you are and showcases all our QT gems surrounding you. It also allows you to share your pictures, adventures etc on the app. Making life very easy for you guys to explore, dream and discover.
- We have wonderful bloggers worldwide sharing their adventures. Some of our favourite blogs this year include Lauren’s ‘A view from the top’ from Crystal Cove State Park in Laguna Beach, Southern California. We also loved Breada’s blog on ‘Gondola, Christchurch’ in New Zealand. We loved Lorraine’s blog ‘Wherever I leave my hat is my home’ on her experience walking Camino ce Copastella. We loved Denis’s adventures in Cuba, Fiona’s adventures in Germany and Tiana’s adventures on Cape Cod. We loved reading Katie’s adventures in India and Pat’s adventure’s in the Australian bush. What a year of adventures you all had.
- We have met some amazing people and had the most amazing adventures of a lifetime. We have so many videos, pictures and blogs and they just make us smile knowing what an amazing year of travel and adventures we had.
- We have built a strong team here at OnTheQT which is growing and we are so grateful for our fab QT team. We are so excited for the year ahead as we have so many ideas & plans and we are looking forward to sharing and launching them all very soon with you.
