The #OnTheQTcrew recently took a trip to Barcelona. We instantly fell in love with the vibrant, colourful metropolitan city, which is steeped in history! We put together some of our top tips so to save time for you and your friends next time you take a trip to this Spanish capital of culture!
Have breakfast at La Boqueira food market: Located just off Las Ramblas, this market has deliciously fresh fruit, juices, crepes, and local produce….. infact everything you could dream of fro a summer breakfast al fresco! With a fantastic atmosphere and great prices, you’ll be sure to have a breakfast to remember!
Go on a segway through the gothic quarter: The gothic quarter is most certainly a place to wander around and admire the buildings… they are simply beautiful! However, if your feet are tired from exploring the city why not hop on a Segway for a unique way to explore your surroundings!
Take a boat trip from the port: At the bottom of Las Ramblas you will come to a beautiful port with lush, expensive yachts! They are so beautiful to admire! There are also a few small boat companies offering 1 hour boat trips which I highly recommend! Its a great way to get a different perspective of the city!
Go on a cable car to Mont Juic to watch the sun set: This was probably my favourite thing to do in Barcelona! Just before sunset we hopped on a cable car up to Mont Juic. We had a spectacular view of the entire city, and as we sat there we watched the sun slowly disappear out of the sky! It was magical!
Watch the magic fountain display: There is a magic fountain display held every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday… although it is quite popular among tourists it is still worth a visit! Its actually designed by the same person the created the Bellagio fountain display in Las Vegas!
