Recently, we took a walk around Cork City and we stumbled upon a little hidden Italian treasure called ‘Hey Presto’. This gem has just opened it’s doors and is already becoming a local favourite, situated in the heart of Cork City and giving you a choice of delicious pasta and healthy salad. A vibrant atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing food… what more could you want?!
I love how they segment their menu into ‘Proper Pasta’ and ‘Serious Salads’. Pasta dishes full of imagination and flavour… tiger prawn, arrabbiata, bolognese, veggie carbonara and much more. The ‘Serious Salads’ lived up to their name with salads such as sweet potato, roasted baby potation, asian rice noodle, cous cous, cobb hey presto style and quinoa. What can we say… there is so much choice! All we can say is you will end up going back back time and time again to try all the different types of pastas and salads. Each looked as amazing as the next!
We went for the carbonara as we were very hungry and we love Italian food. The dish was full of fresh ingredients and bursting with flavour…one of the nicest Carbonara dishes we ever had! We also saw some of the “serious salad” dishes as they call them coming out and they looked unbelievable.
