Tea by the Sea!

Blogger: Lauren Lucy Crowley

There is something so satisfying about stumbling upon a true hidden gem! Whilst recently at Myrtleville beach soaking up  the glorious sunshine I took a walk and came across “Tea by the Sea”, a little boutique vintage café… it was love at first sight!

The café is like a life size dolls house! Painted in a stunning shade of pink there is pretty bunting strung from wall to wall.. the cups and saucers which have all been individually sourced from different vintage markets around the country sit proudly on the wooden cabinet displays, surrounded by quaint décor and stylish wall hangings! #perfection

Across the counter top there is a wide selection of home made cakes, tarts, buns and other sweet treats… all for a very reasonable price! It would have been rude not to treat ourselves… right?! 🙂

We headed out to the outdoor seating where much to our delight there was an ukuele band performing to celebrate the opening of the café! They were fantastic! I even found myself singing along!

As I sat in the sunshine sipping on my delicious Italian coffee, and eating some freshly made carrot cake… whilst enjoying the sunshine and the wonderful music… I thought to myself how lucky was I to have stumbled upon this unique hidden gem! It made my day!

Highly recommend a trip down to the wonderful café, you will find it on the right hand side of the hill as you drive down to Myrtleville beach! Enjoy x
