OnTheQT had a great recommendation by two of our great followers. They spent a morning kayaking with Outdoors Ireland across the beautiful Kilarney Lakes. Not only did they explore the Killarney Lakes but they went off the beaten track and explored the hidden inlets and Islands all around. A great experience for just €50 for a half day kayak and exploration. Our followers started at the Ross Castle and paddled into Lough Lein while discovering wooden islands, limstone caves, history, white tailed sea eagles and ancient ruins of Innisfallen Abbey….all while improving their kayak skills with a great instructor.
This is what our followers, Emma and Will thought of their trip:
” Amazing trip from Ross Castle out onto Loch Lein for a morning of kayaking with Outdoors Ireland. Fantastic weather and beautiful scenery. Lovely to visit the islands, including Innishfallen and seeing the local wild deer. Excellent tour and instruction by Jason our guide”
Now Outdoor adventures offer so much in Killarney. One that we loved here at OnTheQT was the sunset kayaking trip they provide over Killarney National Park and Dingle. You can almost imagine the silence and sound of your paddle as you kayak in the calm waters, the rustling tress, sleeping swans and twilight turning into moonlight. Best thing is that you don’t even need any experience and it just costs €50. (Price: €50pp. Time: 6pm – 9pm)
