OnTheQT spent a few days up at the amazing “Bloom in the park” festival in Phoenix Park, Dublin over the June bank holiday weekend. With beautifully designed gardens to discover, delicious food, plenty of entertainment and of course some summer sunshine, it was an event not to be missed!
We couldn’t get over the creativity, dedication, innovation and imagination in each showcase garden at Bloom this year. Whether you’re thinking of designing your own garden… or just dreaming for now.. it is the perfect inspiration! Water features, swings, hammocks, decorative hedging… everything you could possibly imagine! Most certainly a difficult choice for the judges to pick a winner!
There was something for everyone young and old at the Bloom festival. The kiddies corner was just great, with laughter heard all around. (Little QT TIP Kids attend Bloom for free!). Along with the show gardens there are cookery and craft demonstrations, gardening workshops and advisors, a range of Irish food producers, and excellent entertainment!
