Our Wild Atlantic Way Adventure – Series 2 – Day 4!

After a wonderful nights sleep at Hotel Meyrick, we were ready for another day of exploring! We knew we couldlnt possibly check out without taking a trip to the spa! With an outdoor hot tub overlooking the city… we didn’t ever want to leave!

Galway Atlantaquaria: We headed over to the pretty salt hill promenade where we went to see what the National aquarium had to offer! Irelands largest aquarium with over 60 exhibits and hundreds of Atlantic sea life species… we walked around in fascination admiring the beautiful creatures! (www.NationalAquarium.ie)

Artisan Lunch: It was time for some lunch so we stopped off at the delicious Artisan restaurant on Quay Street. With an excellent reputation for one of Galways top fine dining experiences, and bursting with charm and character, we had an enjoyable lunch looking out onto the medieval streets in Galway! Escape Rooms Galway: We love trying out new things so we couldn’t wait for our trip to the escape rooms in Galway! With a selection of different rooms to choose from…. You must work together, using clues, and sheer concentration to solve the coded mysteries and escape!(www.greatescaperooms.ie)

Pedal Power Galway: Our next adventure was with pedal power Galway – a very unique way to explore the city! Catering for groups of friends, we hopped aboard the novelty bike and cycled around the city stopping off in a few bars along the way! (www.pedalpowergalway.com)

McDonaghs Seafood: Our last pitstop before hitting the road home was the infamous McDonaghs… one of Irelands best seafood houses! Extremely popular amoung locals and tourists, with an excellent repuataion… you most certainly wont want to miss out on a trip here!After some delicious fresh seafood and world famous chips… we were ready to hit the road home!
