Vancouver Day 37

Blogger: Stephanie Lynch

The days are flying by as we explore Vancouver. Today’s spot for our adventures was Lynn Valley Canyon. So we set off on a road trip to explore this gem which lies a little off the beaten track. On route we stopped off at Horseshoe Bay for lunch. A spot situated right on the western tip of West Vancouver and a very popular ferry point. It was a lovely spot to enjoy lunch by the water and watch the ferries going in and out.

Lynn Valley Canyon is a great location for picnics, hikes or even a refreshing swim in the summer months in one of the many popular swimming holes. It has grown from 12 acres to 617 acres today. Lynn Canyon Park contains second growth forest with most of the trees aged approximately 80 to 100 years old. Free of charge to explore and enjoy. Lynn Canyon Park features a suspension bridge that sways 50 meters above the canyon. Explore twin falls, 30 foot pool, pipe bridge and baden powell trail. There is so much to do here and it is definitely worth a full day. It is great to enjoy a more hidden gem in Vancouver

Over and Out for now from Vancouver,

Steph
