A few weeks ago, OnTheQT spent a few days in Torquay in the UK. With the palm trees, sailing boats, busy marina, it was almost as if we were in the Mediterranean. We loved the peaceful walks along the pier and promenade in the relaxed atmosphere.
Lot of seals, penguins and otters are at Living Coasts and you can even take a sightseeing boat trip around the bay – something the kids would love. We even went to a ballet in the Princess Theatre, which was one of the highlights of the trip. At night time there is lots of choice, from tasty restaurants to cocktail bars and a vibrant nightlife.
We spent a few days in Torquay for a very special occasion with family and friends and it couldn’t have been a more perfect spot to create memories to last a lifetime.
