Recently, OnTheQT paid a visit to Springfort Hall for an evening meal. As we drove up the long driveway, we entered a world of pure luxury, hidden in the picturesque countryside surrounded by peace, tranquility and relaxation. A little piece of heaven. The sky was bright blue and the sun was glistening throughout the mature garden. As soon as we turned the handle of the Georgian door, we were greeted with open arms in a warm, homely manor.
Situated in the picturesque countryside, it is the ideal location for a romantic meal for two. A Georgian, countryside manor with a homely, elegant feeling throughout. The unique attention to detail is seen throughout the manor. Walking through the doors of the Springfort Hall, felt like walking into an old country manor. A family, homely feeling to the spot and a very welcoming atmosphere.
The menu featured delicious dishes, offering something for everyone. What struck me was the way in which it offered the very best produce to create delicious and tasteful dishes. Lot of temptations with original and traditional recipes made Springfort Hall a delightful place to dine. We enjoyed the Pork Belly with Chinese Leaf & Crispy Rice Noodles and also enjoyed the crispy crab cake for starter. We then had the fish of the day which was hake and also enjoyed a delicious duck bursting with flavour. The divine flavor was sublime and the presentation was something very unique. Just perfection. Take a look at the video to see the amazing food up close… be warned you will be hungry after viewing the video!!
You all know us here at OnTheQT, we have a little sweet tooth so for dessert we had the delicious Créme Broule, along with a lovely chocolate brownie. A slice of heaven on a plate.
Step away from the hustle and bustle and spend time with loved ones at Spingfort Hall. We ended our experience as the sun set beneath the mature trees as we drove out of the country manor.
A perfect ending to a perfect evening.
