This award winning tapas bar & restaurant is located in the former church of Ireland in the heart of Killorglin town. An unusual venue, authentic Spanish chefs, friendly staff and mouth watering dishes… you couldn’t ask for a more enjoyable dining experience!
What I loved most about this tapas bar is the cultural fusions on the menu! Although Spanish cuisine, prepared by Spanish chefs, Sol Y Sombra sources much of their produce from artisan local suppliers to create Spanish recipes with top quality Irish ingredients!
We sampled a number of different dishes, paired with the imported Spanish wines and craft beers! #perfection Patatas bravas, serrano ham, chorizo sausage, cheese boards, olives.. I almost felt as though I was in Spain! What a satisfying experience!
Although primarily a restaurant this wonderful venue is also well known for intimate concerts, and also available for weddings and other special occasions! Most definately a hidden gem!
