As you guys may have noticed from our snapchat and social media accounts the past few days, we spent a few days in the beautiful Kenmare before heading on a road trip along the Ring of Kerry. We decided to treat ourselves and we stayed in the Sheen Fall’s Hotel just outside Kenmore town. As soon as we came down the windy country road towards the falls and we saw the beauty surrounding us, we knew it was going to be a great few days of luxury and beauty. The Sheen Falls is the perfect spot for a little bit of relaxation and luxury. The hotel overlooks the picturesque Sheen Falls, just outside the heritage town of Kenmare. The perfect escape. We relaxed in the beautiful spa and had a beautiful lunch in the hotel. The perfect spot.
We fell in love with vibrant Kenmare – the quirky shops, lively bars, traditional music, tasty food and beautiful scenery!! The perfect spot to ramble around, enjoy the atmosphere, a drink or even dinner. We love No. 35 in Kenmare. Check out our blog here. Before heading home, we went on a trip around the Ring of Kerry… honestly I can see how people fall in love with this!! A beautiful sunny day and everywhere looked amazing. We drove Kenmare, Sneem, Derrynane, Waterville, Ballinskelligs, Portmagee, Valencia Island, the ferry to Cahersiveen, Glenbeigh, Killorgin, Kilarney and home to Cork. We were doing a little research as we are actually heading back to this area next week to do the wild atlantic way… but with a twist of adventure!
