One of the best things about our recent trip along the Wild Atlantic Way was most certainly the delicious food we got to taste along the way! From fine dining, local seafood, cute cafes, and local gems… we really got a taste of everything! One of my favourite food stops along the way has to be the Doolin Café, a true local gem serving top notch home made food!
As soon as we spotted the café we knew we would love the place! What looks like a colourful cottage from the outside with an abundance of flowers and hanging baskets draped down the walls.. is just as beautiful on the inside! There were idioms and quotes hanging from every corner… I couldn’t wait to read them all!
With a simple philosophy of “why buy it when we can make it”the café makes all their produce using the freshest of ingredients and the best of local artisan produce. Whether you’re looking for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner.. you’ll be sure to find something to tickle your taste buds at this delightful foodie haven!
There is a glass cabinet that proudly displays home made treats.. both sweet and savoury! My mouth was watering as I admired them all! We sat down at a window side seat and couldn’t wait for our breakfast to be served! I assure you we were more than satisfied with our tasty meal!
Hope you enjoy your visit to this delightful café as much as we did! The use of Wi-Fi is discouraged.. so you can enjoy each others company, or borrow a book from the in store café! #perfection x
