Whilst travelling along the Wild Atlantic Way we were only delighted to sample some of the finest cuisine in all of Ireland! As we travelled along we were served the freshest fish in all of Ireland, along with delicious local dishes at top notch restaurants! One of these restaurants was Byrnes in Ennistymon, a true local gem we were glad to discover!
This beautiful family – run restaurant in North Clare serves everything from hot drinks and snack, to lunch, dinner and fine wines! You can even book in and stay at Byrnes if you like as they have a small number of guest rooms!
I fell in love with the décor as soon as I walked in the door! There are paintings strung on every corner of the wall by talented local artists! I couldn’t stop admiring them!
We sat down next to the cosy fire where we were served straight away by a very friendly staff member! It wasn’t long before our delicious food was served to us! A fresh seafood platter that honestly made my taste buds tingle! It was delicious!
We explored out the back where there were outdoor seats looking out into the water! How idyllic on a summers day!
If you’re travelling the Wild Atlantic Way I highly recommend you pop into this beautiful unique and truly delicious local gem!
