9 out of 10 people love chocolate… the 10th person always lies! We stumbled upon a quirky little chocolate factory in the heart of Blarney. Yes, we know Blarney is a typical tourist attraction but this gem is a true hidden gem in the heart of Blarney. The Blarney chocolate factory – An OnTheQT spot. So we decided to write this blog a little differently, a little creatively!! Each paragraph will start with a quote, a quote which allows you to realise how much you LOVE chocolate!
Chocolate makes everything better. We strolled around the small, quirky shop and even had a little sample of some of the treats. What I loved is being able to see the chocolate being made in the back… looks delicious! They were so good that we just had to buy some for home! With the help of the friendly staff, we picked out some very tasty treats. Unfortunately, they never made it home. They were demolished in the car on the way home! We were like little kids again, sampling the different flavors and textures! All we could say was YUMMY!!
When coffee dreams, it dreams of chocolate. The chocolate factory serves hot chocolates(simply delicious!), along with tea and coffees. Yes, you have guessed it! What goes with these hot beverages… their amazing, mouth watering chocolate. A perfect combination.
Chocolate doesn’t ask silly questions, chocolate understands. We enjoyed the surroundings and the decor of the shop just simply added to the experience. Decorated in warm, chocolate tones, along with designs of white and touches of bright pink. It is the perfect place to catch-up with friends or even recall the memories of your adventures and travels.
Never underestimate the power of chocolate. We also loved their selection of ice-creams… especially the bubble gum flavour! Something very different and perfect coming into the summer. Trust us, this is a ‘must enjoy’ type of place! Put it on your bucket list this summer…
I’d give up on Chocolate but I am not a quitter. If you are in the area or even if you are a chocolate addict like us, do not pass up this gem. It’s worth the travel and detour to visit. A QT tip is to buy extra then you think… that’s if you want some to make it home with you!!
