Welcome back to the Ring of Cork travel series. In this episode, we are exploring the seaside town of Youghal. We are going to explore the beaches, famous boardwalk and what Youghal has to offer. We are also going to be exploring another family favourite at Perks Entertainment Centre.
I have heard a lot about the boardwalk in Youghal so it was on my list to check out. It is an Eco-Boardwalk is a 400 metre hardwood panelled beach walk-way, stretching from Front Strand Beach to Claycastle Beach and I must say I really enjoyed the walk & ideal for buggies & wheelchair users and small bikes!
We then took a walk through the busy seaside town of Youghal. We stumbled across St. Mary’s Collegiate Church and the views and gardens are just breathtaking. It is definitely one to add to your travel bucket list.
We ended the day in Perks in Youghal who are 90 years in business this year. It is a popular spot for families so let’s go in and check out what makes it so good. I can see how this place is a child’s dream. Full of activities, fun and adventures!
