I am over the moon to write this blog post to let you all know that OnTheQT.ie won the title of Best Travel Blog 2017 in the commercial category at the V By Very Blog Awards Ireland 2017 – Littlewoods Ireland last night in Dublin. Now in their sixth year, the V by Very Blog Awards Ireland are the biggest blogger event on the calendar In Ireland.
The blog awards 2017 announced that they were after receiving over 1000 entries and after competing in 4 rounds of judging, OnTheQT.ie made it to the top and won! Not only did OnTheQT win the gold award and the title of Best Travel Blog 2017 but their innovative vlog(video blog) also won a Silver Award for the Best Vlog 2017. We are dedicated, passionate and extremely enthusiastic about creating our content, and so to be awarded such a prestigious accolade is an honour, and extremely encouraging!
This year we put absolutely everything into making OnTheQT the best travel blog it could be. We did a revamp of the website style, introduced an interactive map and made it as easy as possible for people to find all the content we produce daily from all around the world. 110% goes into OnTheQT every day and I was the happiest girl in the world to hear OnTheQT’s name being announced as Best Travel Blog 2017. It was a goal of mine for a long time and it felt unbelievable to see it being accomplished.
OnTheQT.ie would not be such a success without you – our readers, our followers, and our customers are what keeps us going – so thank you for being such an important part of our business! We have a lot of exciting vlogs, blogs and adventures planned for the next 12 months – and we look forward to sharing them all with you!
