A week ago today the OnTheQT crew attended the Cork Digital Marketing Awards at the luxurious Fota Island Resort and Spa! This annual event is always an excellent night out – the perfect opportunity to mingle and network, make new friends and catch up with some old ones!
The evening started off with a drinks reception on arrival, where we all excitedly chatted as we waited to take our seats in the grande dining room! Surrounded by previous winners, new entrants and extraordinary talent it was exciting not knowing who was going to collect the prestigious awards!
The dinner tables were beautifully decorated with a splash of emoji’s… how fitting! We were served a delicious 3 – course meal as we chatted and shared our business ideas with those sitting around us! It’s so nice to be surrounded by like- minded individuals, I always feel so inspired at networking events like these!
It was time for the awards to be given out… and I found myself more nervous than I had expected! We were absolutely delighted to pick up not one…. but TWO awards on the night! What a surprise! We were awarded the “Best use of Facebook”, and the “Best use of Video” for a company of less than 30 employees! I leapt off my chair to collect the awards and I can honestly say I have been smiling every since! It is such an honour to be chosen as the winner in each of these categories up against such a talented pool of people in the room! Here at OnTheQT we are passionate about making videos (I have attached a sample for you to see), and digital marketing – so to be awarded for something we love to do is a fantastic feeling!
OnTheQT.ie wouldn’t be as successful or win any of these awards without the continued support from you all.. so thank you to every single one of you! Congratulations to everyone who was a finalist at the Cork Digital Marketing Awards, you should all be proud of what you have achieved! Keep up the good work!
