Recently, some friends of OnTheQT paid a visit to Springfort Hall for a family lunch. They had an amazing experience. Before lunch the kids enjoyed running about the mature garden as their parents enjoyed a world of pure luxury. A gem hidden in the picturesque countryside surrounded by peace, tranquility and relaxation. A little piece of heaven.
Situated in the picturesque countryside, it is the ideal location for Sunday lunch with the family. A Georgian, countryside manor with a homely, feeling throughout, making you feel relaxed and welcomed as a family.
The menu featured delicious dishes, offering something for everyone. The kids enjoy soup to begin with, followed by gourmet sausages and chicken and chips. The fish of the day which was hake was bursting with flavour, along with the beautiful salmon. The flavor was divine and the presentation was something completed to perfection. Onto the most important course… dessert. The kids enjoyed ice cream with chocolate sauce, while the adults enjoyed a delicious Meringue and apple pie. A little piece of heaven.
Sometimes you just need to step away from the busy city and go to the countryside for a spin and a bite of lunch on a Sunday.
