Run by the McGrath family since the 1980’s this award – winning establishment has become a favorite among locals and visitors to the area! Nestled in at the foot of the Slieve Mish Mountains alongside the Wild Atlantic ocean, this is the perfect location for freshly sourced seafood!
We were greeted with open arms by the owner of the restaurant and sipped on a glass of sparkling champagne as we made some new friends with the locals! I couldnt but notice the multitide of award hanging on the walls – its clear the restaurant had built up an excellent repuation! I couldnt wait to sample the food myself!
Although the menu is quite elaborate with an option to suit all palettes, we knew it would be best to sample a seafood dish! When the seafood platter was served up to us I barely knew where to start! There were so many tasty things on one plate… it was a gourmet delight! Such tasty, fresh, high quality fish! #yum
The McGrath family were exceptionally attentative, friendly and informative during our visit, I highly recommend a trip here whilst travelling along the Wild Atlantic Way! Enjoy x
