MAJORCA
Majorca is a location full of beauty and is the perfect sun holiday bursting with beautiful beaches to switch off at. It is the largest populated Island from the Spanish Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean Sea. It has been one of the most popular holiday destinations for years and we can see why. Picturesque beaches, breathtaking scenery and full of thing to do and explore. Our first pick this week is the beautiful 4-star hotel ‘Protur Aparthotel Bonaire’ in Cala Bona, Majorca. This is the perfect location for families as it has everything you need for the perfect family sun holiday. It has a fabulous river style pool, a splash park full of kids adventures and lots of tasty restaurants. No holiday is ever complete without a few beach days and there is a beautiful sand and shingle beach just a two-minute walk away for you to enjoy. At night, you can walk to the centre of Cala Bona in about 10 minutes or walk a little further to explore the larger town of Cala Millor. Nothing beats the endless warm sunny days, the feeling of warm sand on your toes and the sun beaming on your face. Cyprus gives you everything you need for a holiday to the sun. The Mediterranean island always has something new to explore and is the perfect destination for a memorable beach holiday. Cyprus has so much to do and lots of places to visit on day trips. Enjoy the golf courses, picturesque beaches, adventurous water sports, mountain trails and much more. We picked out the ‘Leonardo Laura Beach & Splash resort’ in Cyprus to add to our list as it had a full refurbishment in 2018 and is fresh and new for your holiday. It is the perfect location for a family holiday with lots of restaurants, an outdoor amphitheater, a wave pool and some fun water slides to cool down in. LANZAROTE
Lanzarote is a destination with the perfect combination of relaxation and exploration. Explore the the Fire Mountains at the Timanfaya Natonal Park, created between 1730 and 1736 when more than 100 volcanoes, rose up and devastated this part of the island. The last eruptions were in 1824 but due to the low rainfall this area appears much the same as it did just after the eruptions. Head further north up the island and came across Mirador del Rio. This is Lanzarote’s most famous viewpoint, located 497 metres above sea level and offering panoramic views of the North Coast. Lanzarote offers a diverse landscape to explore. Next to volcanic caves lies golden sand beaches to relax and unwind. Lanzarote has it all, from unique trips exploring nature to the freshest seafood, it is the perfect holiday destination. One of our favourite places at night is the Old Town of Puerto Del Carmen so that is why we picked the four-star hotel ‘Hipotels La Geria’ in this location. TENERIFE
Tenerife is the largest and most populated island in the Canary Islands and is a very popular summer destination. Tenerife is full of things to do and is bursting with adventure and places to explore. Head on a road trip to Mount Teide, go slide through Siam Park waterpark or check out the abundance of water sports available on the island. We always love staying in apartments on holidays as it gives you flexibility for breakfast and lunch and is ideal if travelling with a family. We picked the Parque Santiago III Apartments again this week as there are fabulous deals for May and June. Next destination for this week’s list is one of Spain’s Canary Islands, Gran Canaria. It is known for its black lava and picturesque white sandy beaches. The perfect destination for a romantic getaway with golden beaches, breath taking landscapes and bursting with things to do and see. You can explore almost 60 kilometres of beach, go sailing, walk the stunning island, cool off in the water parks, shop till you drop or just feel the sand between your toes on the golden beaches.
