The OnTheQT crew recently took off an adventure along the Wild Atlantic Way! Our goal was to find as many hidden gems and places off the beaten track waiting to be discovered as we could! We were only delighted when we stumbled across the Hylands Burren Hotel, in a village called Ballyvaughan! What a warm and friendly welcome we received!
This recently renovated family run hotel is welcoming, full of life and character! We were to relax and sit on the large comfortable couches in the lounge as we waited to be shown to our table in the restaurant! The staff were all exceptionally friendly checking to make sure we were okay for everything!
We were seated at a window table in the restaurant, a cosy, casual setting, with an extensive menu! We decided to choose fish seeing as we were on the Wild Atlantic Way after all! Served with a delicious craft beer, and a whole pile of local knowledge from our waitress we knew we had made the right choice!
The family also run a very successful Italian restaurant called L’Arco in the village which of course we had to go down and take a look at! With authentic Italian chefs, and beautiful decor this restaurant would be the perfect venue for a special night out! We were only delighted to help prepare for the night ahead! #masterchef
Hope you enjoy your trip to this friendly town as much as we did! x
