As many of you know, I spent a day with AirBnB recently and took a trip around beautiful Monaghan. During our tour, I fell in love with a little chocolate factory called ‘Glaslough Chocolates’ in the picturesque village of Glaslough. I know you all know I have a little sweet tooth so this place suited me perfectly!! This chocolate shop is most certainly a local gem in the middle of the village and full of chocolate delights. I even got to meet the lady behind the tasty gem, Patricia from Glaslough Chocolates.
What can I say… I was in my element in her little chocolate shop! The smells as soon as you walked in were scrumptious and as soon as you took a bite of chocolate, you experienced a tiny bite of heaven!! After Patricia moved back to her native village of Glaslough, she decided to embark on her venture creating scrumptious artisan chocolates lovingly made in her home kitchen. These chocolates are handmade in small batches using the best quality Belgian chocolate and the finest local cream and quality ingredients.
Each chocolate was as delicious as the next. The most amazing chocolate bars, lolly pops, chocolates, handmade truffles… heaven on earth!! What can I say only YUM YUM YUM!!
