A few week’s ago, we were down around Garryvoe in Cork. Garryvoe is a well know beach and with a fine day it is always a busy beach. We were delighted when we stumbled upon a beach just five minutes up the road towards Shanagarry called Ardnahinch Beach. The sand was soft and the water was glistening over the perfect blue sky. It was almost like a secret local beach. Ardnahinch Beach is situated with a beautiful view of Ballycotton lighthouse.
It was so calm, relaxing and peaceful. It was a place for a family picnic, perfect for a game of football on the beach, building sandcastles, swimming and we even spotted a few windsurfers making the most of the windswept beach.
