OnTheQT paid a little visit to Springfort Hall, a countryside gem just outside Mallow, Co. Cork recently. A location of pure luxury, hidden in the picturesque countryside surrounded by peace, tranquility and relaxation. A little piece of heaven. As soon as we turned the handle of the Georgian door, we were greeted with open arms in a warm, homely manor. This exact welcome is what we loved about this gem, everybody who walks through the doors are greeted and given a personal welcome. Something that truly is a unique gem nowadays.
What we loved about Springfort Hall was the beautiful setting. Situated in the picturesque countryside, it is the ideal location for a bit of peace and quiet. It is the perfect location to get away from the busy city and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Something that caught our eye was that each room has the white window frames looking out onto the mature, country garden. Almost making you feel like you are outside while sitting in the comfort of the manor inside. Springfort Hall allows each room to have it’s own characteristics and features and each is a beautiful as the next.
Valentine’s day is coming up but this year instead of buying chocolates, jellies, cards, teddies, flowers (we could go on forever), why not put your money towards an adventure and a little romantic break away. Treat yourself to a 1 or 2 nights stay in the country manor hotel. Go a little off the beaten track, find this hidden gem and have a little bit of luxury and romance. Enjoy the romantic setting, the food, the fire and even enjoy an old country walk together (you never knew, someone might get a wobbly knee with all the romance haha).

Our favourite thing to do at Springfort Hall is to sit next to the big open fire and relax in the tranquil environment, looking our over the beautiful, fresh, mature gardens (the only problem is we never want to leave!).
